The UIPA - Unione Italiana Portieri d'Albergo Le Clefs d'Or is a second level Association composed of Regional Associations non-profit which are based on principles of solidarity, mutuality and social participation, regulated by articles 36 to 42 of the Italian Civil Code, which recognise the Statute of the Union and which have aims which do not conflict with it. Articles 3, 4, 5 of the UIPA Statute shall be considered binding and each of them shall be composed of a minimum of 11 (eleven) "Effective" Members.
An association which, thanks to the presence of its regional associations, is enriched by the participation in the associative life of its associates who, in doing so, have the opportunity to grow and be trained. The Regional Associations will be able to accept among their associates those members who carry out the profession of Hotel Concierge within the Region itself and, where there is no association, they will have to accept associates coming from the closest Regions.
Regional Associations will be able to accept members from other associations if they move for business purposes on a permanent basis provided they have not been disciplined within their home Region.
An Association wishing to join the UIPA must submit a formal application accompanied by:
- Copy of the Memorandum of Association
- Copy of the current Statutes
- List of its Full Members.
- GDPR Certification
- Tax code
- Copy of the President's identity document
The admission of a Regional Association shall be decided by the Delegates Assembly.
The eventual non-acceptance must be motivated. The requesting Associations will have to undergo 2 (two) years of Observation before becoming ACTIVE MEMBERS of UIPA.
This period is necessary for them to know and become aware of the associative functions, during which they will be able to take part, as Observers, in all the UIPA Assemblies.
A certificate of membership will be issued to the associations accepted.
The Regional Associations retain full statutory, legal, administrative and patrimonial autonomy, and may therefore take all initiatives aimed at achieving the association's purposes, limited to their territorial area and in compliance with this Statute.
They will be able to adapt their regional statutes and request recognition of their legal personality.
