POSITANO
Le Sirenuse is a wonderful place to enjoy the simple pleasures of Positano and the spectacular beauty of the Amalfi Coast.
John Steinbeck, who came in 1953, wrote 'Positano strikes a deep chord. And a dream place that doesn't seem real to you while you're there but whose whole profound reality you feel when you've left it.'
Le Sirenuse opened in 1951 when Aldo, Paolo, Franco and Anna Sersale decided to transform their beach house into a small charming hotel overlooking the bay of Positano. Today Le Sirenuse has 58 rooms and the service of a grand hotel, while still maintaining the spirit and atmosphere of a private home.
Franco, a great connoisseur of art and culture, whose taste has defined the style of the Sirenuse in recent years, sadly passed away in January 2015. Since 1992, Antonio, his son, has successfully run the hotel, while his wife, Carla designs the collection Le Sirenuse, PositanoIt is sold in the Emporio Le Sirenuse boutique in Positano and in the best shops around the world. Marina, Paolo's daughter, has created, with her husband Sebastián Alvarez Murena, the line of perfumes and beauty products Eau d'Italiesold in Positano and around the world. Giulia, his sister, oversees the care of the beautiful plants and greenery that adorn terraces and living rooms at Le Sirenuse.
